It focuses on under-researched PUE applications such as food processing, cooling, textiles, carpentry, and ICT, assessing their affordability, financing needs, and gender-specific adoption challenges. The report outlines barriers such as market fragmentation, high upfront costs, and low consumer awareness, and provides actionable solutions including demand-side subsidies, bulk procurement, tailored financing, and gender-targeted support to scale PUE adoption in underserved communities.
