Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine financial models for climate and infrastructure projects including scenario analysis and risk-return assessments
- Translate policy, market, and technical inputs into investor-ready financial forecasts and maintain Excel-based decision-support tools.
- Conduct financial due diligence and evaluate project feasibility and evaluate capital structuring options including equity, debt, blended finance, guarantees, hedging and other structures
- Prepare investment memos, term sheets, business cases, financing operations manuals and presentations for investors and funding partners
- Execute required market research across eMobility, green hydrogen, RE integration, and other low-carbon infrastructure sectors
- Analyze pricing, incentives, and regulatory developments affecting climate-aligned investments, and monitor global climate finance mechanisms
- Contribute to climate finance strategy development and support fundraising efforts for platforms like GCF, GEF and others
- Conduct policy analysis to identify gaps in climate finance and recommend strategies aligned with evolving frameworks
- Engage with stakeholders including investors, development finance institutions (DFIs), and government agencies and prepare data-driven reports for internal and external use
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; CA/MBA preferred; CFA any level value-added
- 5+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, development finance or climate finance
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining dynamic financial models
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, macros, and scenario planning
- Strong understanding of capital structures, investment instruments, and risk assessment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Exposure to global financing market and understanding
